RICHARD COHN has been practicing real estate law since graduating
from law school in 1983. He first practiced in
Texas and then in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Rich is experienced in virtually all areas of real
estate law, including complex commercial transactions,
mortgage financing, environmental aspects of real
estate transactions, land use and development,
redevelopment projects and municipal tax appeals.
Over the past several years, Rich has focused much of his practice
on commercial leasing, including the preparation of master leases
for use at various office, industrial, and retail facilities, and
the negotiation and drafting of commercial leases on behalf of both
landlords and tenants.
Examples of his work with clients include:
- Negotiation and preparation of commercial leases
- Negotiation and preparation of commercial agreements of sale, and representation of clients in completing sale/purchase transactions
- Representation of clients in development
applications before municipal and county land
use boards
- Representation of clients in commercial real estate loan transactions
