TOM EARP has been representing individuals and businesses in corporate
law, estate administration and estate planning
for more than 30 years. He practiced in Haddonfield,
New Jersey, prior to 1991 when he formed Earp Cohn along with three
other attorneys.
Tom has helped clients with corporate law issues ranging from:
- Formation of new businesses
- Sales of businesses
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Shareholder agreements, disputes and other issues
In the area of estate administration and planning, Tom:
- Advises executors and trustees in estate and trust administration
- Represents estates and trusts in tax matters
- Represents executors and trustees in litigation and other disputes
- Advises and represents individuals in estate planning
Tom's professional background also includes clerking with the Honorable James Hunter III of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit immediately following law school and spending three years in the Navy JAG Corps.

A.B., 1968, Economics, Brown University, cum laude
Bar Admissions:
Admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New Jersey, the U.S. Court of Military
Appeals, the U.S. Tax Court, the US Court of Claims, and the U.S. Supreme
Court.
Professional Activities:
Member of the Camden County Bar Association.
Community Service:
Tom has been a member of the Board of Junior Achievement of New Jersey for
more than 30 years. He has served as Chairman and in other offices. .
