DOUGLAS F. JOHNSON represents clients in a broad range of complex commercial litigation and insurance disputes. After six years as a federal prosecutor, Doug entered private practice, where he has been involved in a wide variety of sophisticated litigation. His cases have included:
  • Nationwide consumer-fraud class actions
  • Major banking, securities fraud, RICO and antitrust litigation
  • Complex commercial disputes
  • Environmental and employment litigation
  • Securities arbitrations
  • Insurance claims and coverage cases
  • Many other areas of litigation

Doug is always prepared to serve the client's best interests, whether taking a case to trial and through appeal, or trying to reach the best settlement possible.

After graduating with honors from Rutgers University Law School in Camden in 1981, Doug spent six years as a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division, where he gained tremendous trial experience investigating and litigating white-collar criminal cases and complex antitrust matters. Since entering private practice, Doug has occasionally gone back to Rutgers Law School as an Adjunct Professor, teaching Antitrust Law and Pre-Trial Advocacy.

Member of Philadelphia, Camden County, New Jersey State and American (Chairman, State and Federal Enforcement Subcommittee of Antitrust Committee Litigation Section, 1988-1992; Member, Antitrust and Business Law Sections) Bar Associations; District of Columbia Bar; Defense Research Institute; Camden Inn of Court.

In serving his profession as noted above, Doug is an active member of various committees of the American Bar Association and Defense Research Institute, and has spoken and been published on various topics, including antitrust and insurance fraud litigation.

Doug has been an active member of Habitat for Humanity and The Sierra Club for many years.
